Overview
The Almighty Father, perfect in love, is the First Person of the Most Holy Trinity. From all eternity He exists in perfect communion with the Son and the Spirit, lacking nothing, overflowing in love. Out of sheer generosity, the Father established His Creation and revealed Himself in the fullness of time by sending His only begotten Son. Through the Son and with the Holy Spirit, the Father expands His Kingdom to the world, blesses and protects His people, and calls every man to become His adopted son within the Holy Catholic Church.
Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, perfect in mercy, took on human flesh in the Incarnation to save sinners and reveal the Father’s plan of salvation. As King, Priest, and Prophet, He conquered sin and death, established His Kingdom, and entrusted His Church with the Sacraments. Every man is invited to receive His mercy, be strengthened by His grace, and follow Him into eternal life.
The Holy Spirit, perfect in power, proceeds from the Father and the Son and remains ever-present in the world. He sanctifies, guides, and strengthens men through the Church. By His gifts and fruits, the Spirit renews the hearts of believers and prepares every man for eternal happiness in Heaven.
