My name is Matthew James Christoff. For the past three years, tens of thousands of men from around the world have been growing in holiness and happiness at EveryCatholicMan.com and following the EveryCatholicMan.com Podcast. I’ve always preferred to stay in the background, keeping the focus where it belongs—on Jesus, on the Gospel proclaimed at Mass, and on Christ in His Catholic Church. But today, I need to step forward with an important announcement.
Let me introduce myself. I’m a Catholic convert, husband, father, and grandfather. For years, I’ve been writing and speaking about the Catholic man crisis, helping dioceses and parishes evangelize men. I’ve been blessed to help the Church understand this crisis and how to respond through projects like the New Emangelization Project, the Catholic Men’s Leadership Alliance, and HeroicMen.com. More recently, I’ve been building the Every Catholic Man movement and expanding the resources at EveryCatholicMan.com.
And now, I’m humbled and excited to announce the release of my new book: Becoming a Happier Catholic Man – 2026.
Why This Book Matters
Today many men are struggling to find happiness. Stress, restlessness, conflict, loneliness, the temptation to escape, the constant search for meaning—these are heavy burdens.
But Our Lord Jesus Christ came so that we might have true and lasting happiness. In His very first sermon—the Sermon on the Mount—His first words are the Beatitudes. The word beatitude means happiness. What does Jesus promise us as He calls us to Heaven? Eternal happiness in the Beatific Vision. And along the way, through the Gospels and the teaching of the Church, He shows us how to live with joy even now. Many men think the goal is simply to “make it to Heaven.” The real goal is to be happy—forever—in Christ. That is why He came.
